Go Mountain Biking or Touring Through Town

Sign up for a guided mountain biking trek in Black Rock Forest, or rent one of our mountain bikes to take your own tour. Cycling with Storm King Adventure Tours is an ideal way to take in everything the region has to offer while getting a healthy workout.

Equipment
We rent Specialized mountain bikes and helmets. You can also bring your own equipment for use on one of our guided excursions.

Rates & Schedule

  • Guided Tours are offered throughout the season and require a minimum of 4 participants in order to roll
  • Guided Tours are 3 hours long
  • Guided Tours are $45, including rental.
  • Bike rental is $10 per hour; 2 hour minimum. $50 for a 24 hour rental.

HERMIT TOUR

"The Hermit Tour" is an educational and historical ride into the story of the infamous hermit who made his home in Black Rock Forest. Visit his hut, his Post Office supply drop site, and the two remaining original trail signs that he made.

Visit 3 different airplane crash sites.

Learn to identify trees by their leaves and bark.
